Apricot Kernel Oil: is valued in skincare due to its impressive ability to nourish and hydrate the skin effectively. Easily absorbed, it delivers moisture without leaving an oily residue, making it ideal for combination and dry skin types. With a comedogenic rating of 2, it is unlikely to clog pores, striking a balance between providing sufficient hydration and maintaining skin clarity. Furthermore, a 2019 study highlighted its antioxidant properties, which play a crucial role in protecting the skin from free radical damage and promoting rejuvenation, supporting overall skin health and vitality.
Sesame Seed Oil: This product appears to be an exceptional natural moisturiser that offers multiple benefits for the skin. Rich in vitamin E, it deeply hydrates and nourishes, creating a light barrier to maintain moisture levels without any heaviness or stickiness. It enhances the skins softness and suppleness, contributing to a radiant appearance. Beyond hydration, it promotes skin cell regeneration, revitalising the skin and improving its overall texture and tone. Additionally, its soothing properties can aid in healing minor abrasions and reducing redness, offering a calming effect for sensitive or irritated skin.
Golden Jojoba Oil: Actually a liquid wax, stands out among carrier oils due to its unique composition and high vitamin E content. Unlike many oils, its similarity to the skins natural sebum makes it particularly as a moisturiser and helps to balance sebum levels. This makes it an excellent choice for maintaining skin health without clogging pores, as it is non comedogenic. Its moisturising properties can help diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while also improving skin suppleness. An Italian study from 2011 even suggested that jojoba oil might aid in wound healing by enhancing collagen synthesis, although further research is necessary. Suitable for all skin types, Jojoba oil absorbs quickly, imparting a soft, supple feel to the skin, making it a versatile addition to any skincare regimen.
Vitamin E Oil: Topical vitamin E oil offers numerous benefits for skin health, acting as a multifunctional skincare ingredient. It effectively prevents moisture loss by forming a protective barrier on the skins surface keeping it hydrated and supple. By penetrating the top and middle layers of the skin, vitamin E not only softens the skin but also shields cells from damage caused by environmental stressors. While research is ongoing, vitamin E shows promise in UV protection, though it should not be used as the sole form of sun defence. Furthermore, its antioxidant properties allow it to combat free radicals, reducing inflammation and potentially aiding in the healing of wounds and burns. By strengthening the stratum corneum (the outermost layer of the epidermis) and enhancing moisture retention, vitamin E supports a healthier, more resilient skin barrier.
Directions: Best used after a bath or shower when the skin is still slightly damp. Using the dropper, apply only a couple of drops to the hands or directly onto the area required. Warm and massage the oil into the skin.
It is advised to conduct a skin allergy test 48 hours before use.
